Bigfoot Steals Rabbits in Oregon 5

At Safe Distance

It was rather apparent that the electric fence had flat out pissed-off the sasquatch. Until this the thefts had been just that, thefts. Now it seemed like things were becoming personal. Walking Tree would have told you it didn’t hurt his feelings a whole lot thinking about the beast out there limping around with a pair of sore feet. Even if that was what made things personal between the sass and himself.

Up until this point in time Walking Tree hadn’t been sure he was going to shoot at the beast if it ever fell in his gun sights. The other times he had encountered the creature it was gone before he had a chance to shoot at it but he did have time to think about it afterwards. Nobody has ever shot a bigfoot to modern man’s knowledge. There are tales of Daniel Boone claiming he killed one, but other than that there are known shootings of the creature.

Some believe it isn’t possible to shoot one. There is a modern day tale of a man, a native American in fact, who claimed he was nearly face to face with one and had his rifle, which he thought he had shot at the creature several times only to discover after the creature had gone that he had in fact not shot one bullet, but had used the lever action to kick out all the unfired bullets from the gun.

Do they have some sort of special power which prevents humans from shooting at them? There are certainly many who believe they put out some sort of frequency or otherwise unknown means of communicating a feeling of unease, anxiety and even upsetting stomachs or causing headaches.

Walking Tree hadn’t experienced any of those and he hadn’t felt anything holding him back from shooting at the creature. He just hadn’t had the opportunity. Before he might not have chose to shoot at it, but after killing all his rabbits he wouldn’t have a problem shooting it now.
