Bigfoot Rises from Lake in Oklahoma 9

At Safe Distance

Hubert didn’t know how much longer he was going to have light. It wasn’t that the batteries were going to run out of juice but he feared the water had found its way to parts that were about to become faulty. The light had become very faint and he was able to now palm it so it might not give away their location.

Then they heard the breathing. It was loud, labored, and getting closer. The creature was not being fooled. It was coming! Now they could hear it growling like it was angry. Then it roared. The boys charged through the brush and suddenly were thrown backwards. They had run into a chainlink fence that was covered with vines and brush so it was very hard to see. Behind them they could hear the creature crashing through the brush getting closer and closer.

They all three sprang back to their feet and rushed the fence, jumping over it and landing in the back yard of someone’s house. A motion sensor light came on and they were never so glad to see one. Still they wasted no time getting to the gate that would let them out to the front yard of the house. Once there, more motion sensor lights came on and the man who owned the house opened his front door to see what was going on.
