Bigfoot Steals Rabbits in Oregon 7

At Safe Distance

The next morning he would discover the beast had crushed several of the cages before taking the two that were gone. It had used twelve to fifteen foot pine trees that it snapped off about half the way up their trunks to walk over the plywood with the nails in it. The same process was used to get past the electric wires that he had stretched. Once again the rabbit cages were unprotected from whatever was able to get their cages open. Or big enough to carry off the cages.

As mentioned not all the rabbits had been taken or killed. Those that could be found were caught and put back into the cages still remaining. The pen was fixed as best as possible with the time remaining in the day and that night it snowed. The next day he could see tracks where the creature had come up to the cages but for some reason did not take any rabbits. It was like it came up and was looking at them but then didn’t take any.

It went on like that for two weeks. Finally it dawned on Walking Tree that the creature was waiting for them to get bigger. Sure. The only ones left were the ones from the most recent litters. The fact the creature was waiting for them to get bigger meant that maybe it could be reasoned with; or at least that it had the capacity to reason.

Walking Tree learned several things about sasquatch. The first thing is that they are very stubborn. They obviously believe whatever is in their forest is theirs to take; and they apparently take it quite personally when steps are taken to keep them from what they think belongs to them. It didn’t matter what he did to stop the creature, the beast continued to treat the situation as if it was belonging to it.
