First a little background about Stan and his time living near Branson. He’d been there about three years when he first saw the creature in the fall of 2012. He’d been out doing some squirrel hunting when he came upon the creature. It was big, seven foot at least, brown with grey patches of fur that was very thick. He was too far away to make out specific features. There were a few things he could make out however. Such as its head. The thing had a head that wasn’t round. It had a face that was round but the top of its head went up further than if it were round. It wasn’t distinct but it wasn’t subtle either. The look was unique as he had no memory of ever having seen pictures of any sort of ape that had such an odd shaped head. The first time he saw it they just looked into each other’s eyes for what was probably about fifteen seconds but to Stan it seemed like an hour. Luckily Stan was above where the creature was located and even if the it was able to almost fly up that distance it would have had a hard time catching Stan before he was able to get back onto his property. He was at the top of a ridge that had a steep fall to it. Then there was another similar distance down to where the creature stood looking up at him. The whole subject proved to be mute because the animal made no movement towards his direction. Instead it continued on its way along the bottom of the ridged valley and eventually disappeared into the cover of the woods. Stan watched it go about its business and he made no fuss about the encounter. In fact he didn’t tell anybody. next page. | |
